~ Lilliana Marie ~

There are certain surprises in life that are truly wonderful.  My brother and sister-in-law chose to wait to find out the gender of their second child, and this surprise was definitely a sweet and special surprise.  On the late evening of August 23rd, we were all overjoyed to hear the news that these two wonderful people were blessed with another healthy and beautiful daughter. 

This little girl, named Lilliana Marie, is now the little sister to Alexandra Grace, and their bond will be anything but "little" as they grow together as sisters and as friends throughout their lives.  Sisters are a magical gift.  

When I met Lilliana, also known as "Lilly", at Pawley's Island last week for a family vacation, she instantly had my heart.  She was as calm and peaceful as the waves at sunrise and as warm and charming as the mid-day peaks of sun we were blessed with in between the cloudy afternoons.  

With her face as round as a cherub and her eyes as deep as the sea, she has such a sweet and tender soul.  I am so happy to be her aunt, and I am so excited that Alex and Lilly will go through life sharing a bond that is truly unlike any other bond two people can share.  

Welcome to the world, darling Lilliana.
