One Year & an Ocean View

Hubby and I returned to Richmond last night after a blissful and blessed long weekend in Pawley's Island, SC, where we celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary.  Everything was incredible, from the balcony ocean view to the beach walks to the Angel Paws fashion show to the endless Malbec to the outstanding cuisine.  Going back to such a special place and remembering all of the amazing moments from our wedding weekend was more than wonderful. 

Instead of posting recipes for this blog, I will simply post photos of the crazy-good meals we enjoyed while on the island for your visual viewing pleasure.  I was more than inspired by the local crafty cuisine, and I cannot wait to re-create, as well as adapt, a few of these dishes to please our tastebuds.  Here are just a few of our favorites.
